How can I get listed as a breeder?

Provide us with copy of your health testing and be open to a home visit by one of our volunteers.

How can I join?

Print out and complete member application. Then mail to our treasurer (address appears on application) with your annual dues.

You can also hit the subscribe button the right column for annual renewals or to pay with a credit card.

As a breeder can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes you can! Gift your whole litter of 4 puppies or more for just $14 per member (not valid on renewals) Just click below and provide us with their names, addresses, phone number and e-mail.

Why join the IHC?

The Independent Havanese club is a non profit club dedicated to all aspects of the Havanese. We focus on the Havanese being a companion. Your membership is a testament to your dedication to this breed. It enables us to be a resource to the growing number of Havanese pet owners. It allows us to have breeders listed on our site that do health testing of their breeding stock. You are also endorsing our efforts with the work that we do that benefits Havanese Rescue. It allows us to when possible help the dogs in Cuba - which we feel is the responsible thing to do, after all that is were ALL our Havanese originate from. It also entitles you to club member benefits like those listed below:

Annual Photo Contest - Although, any Havanese afficionado can vote entry is limited to members.

Clinics - Watch for clinics scheduled in your area

Fun Days - Watch for Fun Days scheduled in your area

Havanese Lifeline - Our club newsletter a tri-annual publication of the IHC.

Havanese Mentors AP - An upcoming program were members have an access pass to Havanese mentors.

Mediation - Have a problem with your dog or breeder? Our board members will always try to help on your behalf by using our network of volunteers.

Miracle Fund - Financial Aid - available to members in good standing. Subject to fund guidelines.

Yahoo Group - Although, our yahoo group is open to everyone we do believe it's most frequented by current active members.
