 Mission Statement
Our Club's purpose is simple: we focus on the primary role of the Havanese, that of being a pet before serving any other function.
We don't deny that we may exhibit them in conformation shows, obedience, agility competitions and perhaps even breed them. However, we do insist that the Havanese is first and foremost our beloved pet and friend before serving any other function.
We're a group that facilitates the exchange of information about our breed and any health concerns. We educate when possible and try to assist any Havanese found in need. We publish a newsletter containing stories about Havanese, their breeding, heats, behaviors, training, wins, and lots of other good Havanese dog stuff. We have a Yahoo group open to members and non members alike that help each other with concerns with our breed.
Our members come from all over the US, Canada, Netherlands,... and even Cuba! Simply put, we are all Havanese lovers and that is what unites us as members!
